GALICIA (PART I)

Three summers ago, I had the chance to travel to Malta to study English, and there I met someone who is today one of my best friends, she's called Jacqueline, and was born in Venezuela and lives in Galicia, where I had the chance to spend a wonderful couple of weeks, enjoy the XACOBEO, visit beautiful places, eat a lot of octupus and share tons of things with her.

I am very lucky to have such good friends in my city-country and abroad, with whom to share lovely experiences, and I'm taking this opportunity on my blog to present them to you, as they are part of my life and also to tell them that I love them,

Hace 3 veranos, tuve la oportunidad de ir a Malta a estudiar inglés, y allí conocí a la que es hoy una de mis mejores amigas, se llama Jacquelline nació en Venezuela y vive en Galicia, donde he tenido la oportunidad de pasar dos semanas maravillosas, disfrutar del XACOBEO, conocer sitios preciosos, comer mucho pulpo y compartir infinidad de cosas con ella.

Soy muy afortunada de tener tan buenas amigas dentro y fuera de mi ciudad-país, con las que compartir experiencias preciosas, y aprovecho mi blog para que las conozcáis, ya que son parte de mi vida y también para decirles que las adoro.

MY SWEETIE FRIEND

This summer, even if I haven't been very present on the blog, and I'm so sorry about that, it's being great. Last week, a beautiful venezuelan girl, one of my best friends, like an elder sister to me, surprised me by coming to visit me in Malaga, leaving the capital for a few days. We spent the day on a beautiful beach which ended with salsa, mijitos and a bunch of laughter. There's nothing like sharing with your friends unforgettable experiences, confessions, dances, funny moments and a lot of affection.

Este verano, aunque me tiene bastante ausente del blog y os pido mil disculpas por ello, me está resultando fenomenal. La semana pasada una bellísima venezolana que es una de mis mejores amigas, como una hermana mayor para mí, me dio la sorpresa de venir a Málaga de visita, dejando la capital por unos días. Pasamos una jornada de playa maravillosa que se cerró con salsa, mojitos y muchas risas. No hay nada como compartir entre amigas experiencias inolvidables, confesiones, bailes, momentos divertidos y mucho cariño.

ROCKER BUBU

My style, as you already know, is more romantic or classic than "rock", however for The Fashion Spot (http://www.thefashionspot.com/style-trends/news/81670-street-style-madrid), Melissa Alvarado asked me to take some photos of myself with two different outfits and one of them was a rocker one, they didn't publish it, this is why as time went by, I'm now now showing it on my blog.

J‘ADORE

I love the sea, I love it when it's hot and I can have a swim, the smell that rain leaves on the sand, I love it when it gets furious, watching the reflect of the moon at night fills me with good energies...

I truly adore all its aspects and all the plans you can make with the sea as main protagonist. It's also amazing to get up early and go and see how the sailors bring the fish to coast, and they even have the kindness to give you one to cook at home... It's a unique and marvelous experience, a pleasure for all the senses.

Adoro el mar, me gusta cuando hace calor y puedo bañarme, el olor que deja la lluvia en la arena, me gusta cuando está enfurecido, me llena de energía contemplar la luna reflejada de noche…

Realmente me gusta en todas sus facetas y me gustan todos los planes que se puedan hacer con el mar como protagonista. También es asombroso levantarse temprano e ir a ver cómo los marineros traen a la costa los pescados, y si además tienen la cortesía de regalarte uno para cocinarlo en casa… Es una experiencia única y maravillosa, un placer para los cinco sentidos.

I love sequins, I think it gives both a sexy and elegant touch to the lady as long as they now how to wear it, I love them so much, I don't just wear them for parties, so I decided to combine them with some accessories and colourful tones to be able to wear them more often.

TRENCH

When the soldiers returned from the front after the war, they carried on wearing their trenches in civilian life.

Punks took hold of the trench during the late Seventies, and the Eighties saw amateur versions of the trench in all styles. For a long time, the trench was associated with intellectual chic because it was classic and never went out of fashion.

It wasn't until 1990, under Artistic Director Roberto Menichetti, that Burberry brought out a new version of the trench, a Thirties-inspired model with the famous Burberry heck incorporated into the design. It sparked a whole new wave of copycat designs.

Today,its indispensable in our closet.

Primero fue una prenda con la que los soldados se cubrían en el frente, después la usaban cuando volvían a la civilización.

Más tarde, en la época de los 70, los punks la pusieron de moda, aunque se extendió a otros estilos durante los 80. Durante mucho tiempo fue una prenda asociada a gente intelectual y nunca dejó de estar de moda.

En 1990 el director artístico de Burberry rediseñó una nueva versión del "tench", un modelo años 30, que desde entonces marcas de todo el mundo han imitado temporada tras temporada.

Hoy es imprescindible en nuestro armario.

Este homenaje a los años 20 es una joya, su prenda fetiche en esta colección, los abrigos, vienen cagados de sofisticación y lujo. Maravillosas piezas para toda la vida.

ALMA AGUILAR

Big boots, sophisticated clothes, technological cloths and colours, stamped with the Como region of Italy, a wink to the 50's, headdress, purple glitters, rabbit hair and her fetish clothes such as coats, shown to us strong coloured, quilted and silky.

A collection full of romanticism in which black is present as the "Winter King" just like Alma Aguilar says it.

The first coat which she opened the fashion show with is bordered with silk frills, an authentic jewel which shows us this wonderful designer with personality print all over her clothes, the ones we are able to find on the high streets so we can wear them at anytime and any place.

I have to say that Alma Aguilar has the kindness of answering to the messages left by people like me who admire her, and this gives her so much credit. What are deified and unreachable people worth? CONGRATULATIONS ALMA AND THANK YOU!!

Botas grandes, prendas sofisticadas, tejidos y colores tecnológicos, estampados de la región de Como (Italia), guiños a los años 50, tocados, destellos morados, pelo de conejo y su prenda fetiche como son los abrigos, nos los muestra de colores fuertes, acolchados y de seda.

Una colección llena de romanticismo en la que el negro ha estado presente como "Rey del invierno" tal y como lo llama la propia estrella Alma Aguilar.

El primer abrigo con el que abrió el desfile está bordado con volantes de seda, una auténtica joya que nos muestra esta maravillosa diseñadora de personalidad marcada en sus prendas, las cuales lleva a la calle para que podamos vestir sus creaciones en cualquier momento y lugar.

He de decir que Alma Aguilar tiene la amabilidad de contestar a los mensajes a las personas que como yo, la admiramos, y eso la honra ¿de qué valen las personas endiosadas e inalcanzables? FELICIDADES ALMA Y GRACIAS!!
